DIN 2391 standard specifies technical delivery conditions for cold finished seamless precision steel tubes of the dimensions listed in DIN 2391 Part 1, which are made from the steel grades of St30Si (1.0211), St30Al (1.0212), St35 (1.0308), St45 (1.0408), St52 (1.0580). Such tubes are mainly used where accuracy to size and, possibly, a small wall thickness, a particular surface condition and specific mechanical properties are required.
Manufacture: tubes to DIN 2391 shall be manufactured by cold rolled or cold drawn, hot rolled.
Delivery Condition: Cold finished (hard) as BK, cold finished (soft) as BKW, cold finished and stress-relieved as BKS, annealed as GBK, normalized as NBK.
Inspection & Test: chemistry composition analysis, tensile test, flattening test, flaring test, NDT, surface inspection and dimension check.
Length: 5800mm; 6000mm; 10000mm; 11800mm; and so on.
Further process: cutting, deformation.
